How should I answer the "Hey, do you like me? question?
My best friend just got a phone and last night he text-ed me "Hey, do you like me? Now I know that it is very possible that someone else could have taken his phone and text-ed me this, so I didn't respond. I plan on talking to him face to face about it today. But what do I answer? (Truthfully I do kind of like him) but If I answer that and he doesn't, there goes the friendship you know! If I say no, there goes the chance of having something more... I don't want to lose either. How do I answer? Please help I feel so trapped.

Aw I HATE situations like this!!
The only way you can kinda see what he's feeling is to bring it up very casually. Say something like "Oh I got your text last night..." and see how his face changes. You'll hopefully be able to tell how he feels by the way he reacts. If he says something which is a sure sign it was actually him, tell him how you feel. If he says something which gives you an impression otherwise, then don't and leave it up to him to bring it up again. If he really, truly likes you, he'll make the effort.
