dude you are an idiot, you don't even understand what you are arguing for. the theory of evolution does not state that we evolved from chimps... it says humans and chimps evolved from the same common ancestor.

You fail to realize the use of words like:

"almost certainly",

"roughly the same number of genes",

"It could instead be",

"The truth is bound to lie somewhere between the two",

"It may have helped create what evolutionists delicately call reproductive isolation between the species in the past",

"Apparently a fusion occurred in the human lineage"

There is no definite proof, it is all speculation.

God has no place in science, just as thoughts and ideas have no place in religion.

Human chromosome #2 is just one of THOUSANDS of bits of evidence supporting Evolution.

Creation has yet to provide ONE shred of credible evidence that supports it.

The amount of chromosomes prove nothing. Chimps and Tobacco both have 48 chromosomes and they are nothing alike.
