Healthy low calorie low fat recipes.?
Hi, I recently broke my foot and have put on about 20 pounds because of it. I want to lose the weight and want to do it in a healthy life changing way. I need some recipes that are low calorie and low fat, but are also tasty. I'm from the south so I LOVE meat and don't care for tofu, rice, or anything fru fru. I just need something healthy and easy to make ahead and take to work. My fiance is getting sick of skinless chicken breasts and lettuce so I could use the help. Thanks, oh and I would like to keep the fat in each serving under 10 grams and the calorie content pretty low as well. My goal is no more than 30 g of fat a day and no more than 1500 calories. Thanks so much, and please don't preach about exercise I do 5 miles every morning on the bike and lift 5 lb weights... i.e. I'm working on it.

that is a great site, i use it all the time, feels better eating healthy (not taste wise but yeah)
And nice job on the exercise, as they say, muscle begins in the Kitchen (well abs do but i decided to make it this way) =)

soups can be both filling and comforting try making a garden or bean soup with low salt broth and store in portion sized cups for later
