where will manny end up?

reports are out saying the dodgers are looking at dunn, a cheaper option who won't have as good BA, but will match or beat mannys HR #'s. and will probably be available for quite a bit less

Both players are risky in the NL. Manny is already slow in the field and he's not getting any younger. Dunn is in his athletic prime, yet he somehow is a butcher in the field. He's had years to work on his game, and I see no improvement at all. Ultimately, Dunn will be a safer signing in terms of clubhouse atmosphere and longevity, but Manny is a proven winner and probably a Hall of Famer to boot. It's like trying to decide between Brett Favre and Drew Brees. Brees will always have the numbers, but Favre wins games...

I think Manny winds up with an offensively needy AL team. The league as a whole took a step back in that department last year, and DH seems not so far off in Manny's future.

As for Manny right now it could be looking worse and worse for him because if the Dodgers do sign Dunn or Abreu, Manny would be left out and not with the Dodgers as where he wont end up are the Angels, Red Sox. Manny would be in a bad situation if he does not go back to the Dodger, his agent Boras might have to convince the Nationals that Manny is the missing piece, but in the end I think he will end up with the Dodgers again.

Between Manny and Adam Dunn, I prefer Manny for the Dodgers. Someone above said it correctly about Dunn - he strikes out a lot.

    Dugout chemistry-wise, Dunn is preferable.

As a giants fan I hope the dodgers get Dunn because he strikes out over 200 ties every year compared to manny who is one of the best hitters in the game

Mark my words, NOBODY wants him. The Yankees are out of it. The Dodgers could sign Dunn. If they do, I honestly believe Manny will retire.

The Oakland A's would be a nice destination, seeing their an AL team that could use his offensive production. He could be a DH which would allow him not to play in OF. If the A's offered him a 3 year deal worth 60 million it would would work

I don't know but I don't think he will get more than 3 years and 45-50 million from anybody. Take it or leave it Manny.

Manny could be unemployed until spring training.

I think he'll go to the Yankees, which is hilarious for Red Sox fans. They're going to hate him even more now. He's going to get some serious boos at Fenway this year.
