Christians, christians, christians?

America is a Christian nation, founded and settled by Christians, who used Bibles as textbooks in their schools. It was the Christians who started hospitals and soup kitchens and so on. Why shouldn't Christians be on here ???? Give me one good reason.

Because while lots of people are interested in studying those religions, Christianity is the most dominant in the US, and thus the one that gets the most attention. It's one thing to study a religion for personal understanding and another to try and understand a religion whose adherents have the power to impact my life. I ask and answer a lot of questions in regards to Christianity because I was raised Christian, gave it up, and live in a largely Christian country. It effects me therefore I am more worried about it than say Hinduism, which has little to no impact on me.

Because "Christian" has become a very broad -all encompassing title for not only true Christianity but also for many cultic & non-biblical (bible based) belief systems but since these groups 'believe' in Jesus Christ they consider themselves Christians. Also most people (particularly families) consider themselves to be Christians because their grandmother is/ was one or they they grew up in a christian church even though they may not know what Christianity is all about.

That's why there are more questions and debates that is geared towards Christianity - The name has become an 'All Spectrum' anecdote.

My guess would be that Yahoo Answers is part of an American based company and thus its base clientele is American and the major religion in the US is Christianity and thus most people just assume to address the Christians first and foremost since they are majority. It isn't very fair, I agree. It makes me feel targeted since I am a Christian. But it is only done this way since Christians make up the majority in the US and, frankly, most western nations. So, when people think of religion, Christianity is the first on their list and the main one they think of.

Question is why do people come on here to bash each other period? I could see to ask someone how they see things or how they feel about things, or what are your beliefs? Compared to other's...but to literally bully and name call is just wrong. If it gets to you, don't come on for a while, and give it a rest. You will find peace that way. Coming here is like walking between a battle zone and ducking stones being hurled back and forth.

You'll probably find plenty of questions on those if you go to some of the Yahoo Answers International places. But since this is America, and the dominant religion here is Christianity, those are the sorts of questions you're going to find.

I don't know. I guess people want to know or want to pick on us or something. Christianity is the dominant religion in America. It makes sense that most questions would be about Christianity.

Why don't YOU ask questions about those other faiths? Ask away!

These religions post no threat to satan, because they do not involve the one true God. (except Judaism, the God they believe in is the God of the universe, they just fail to recognize Jesus as their Messiah). But to answer your question, these are all religions that have false gods. why should satan bother them? He's already got them led astray. And as far as the legit questions about God, they are directed to Christians, because people know that they have access to the truth, through the means of studying the Bible, which is the source of all absolute truth!
