question abt a roller coaster ride?
In Japan there's a roller coaster that goes underwater at the end of the ride. My question is How is it possible that the people doesn'tt get wet at the end of the ride? I saw it on you tube. If there's a tunnel under the water, It looks just like the coaster goes underwater. Can someone please explain the science to that?

Anaconda at Kings Dominion goes underwater at the bottom of the lift hill. There's a tunnel with a splash effect as the train enters and leaves the tunnel, but the riders never get wet (maybe a little mist, but never wet). I'm guessing it would be the same for this coaster.
I'm including the link to a youtube clip of Anaconda. If you pause it at :44, you'll see the tube I'm talking about. It sits ride at water level. It's easy to see when you're on the ride, but in the distance, you wouldn't know the tube was there which gives the effect that the train is underwater.

It's simply an enclosed tunnel built through the water, similar to walk-through tunnels in shark tanks at a few aquariums in the world. They either drained the water to build the tunnel dry, or built it the same way they build bridges over waterways by temporarily displacing the water in order to construct the tunnel (as well as the coaster track itself, which is also submerged.)
