my mom is 48 years old, and her period is lasting over a month now. she said, sometime it's heavy and sometime light. however, just within these few days, it has been the heaviest in her whole life. I don't know what's wrong, and my family doesn't have heath insurance. so we're just playing a guess game right now. she thinks she's hitting her menopause, but I think it's something more serious. would someone please shine some insights to her problem?
