Why do we have a 20 character rule....?

theres some questions thats not 20 characters material

    I know what you mean.

    Maybe because they think if you don't have over 20 characters it's not a real question.

    But i really have no idea.

    Just an example of Yahoo's random rules (or S rules).... like when they switched my original Yahoo homepage to their new m.yahoo (new and blue) one without asking.

    i actually noticed a few questions that didnt have 20 characters in another section today.

    so maybe they dont do that anymore?

    so that the younger kids wont go on and on about their problems trying to get everyone's attention... like

    "OMG HEEEEEEEEEELP ME PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE I REALLY NEED HELP THIS GUY IM INTO SAID I LOOKED GOOD DOES HE LIKE ME SHOULD I GO OUT WITH HIM HEELP ME PLEASE 10 POINTS...."

    I know.

    I just do a whole bunch of spaces until its 20characters.
