Sugar in the gas tank or Banana in the tailpipe?

Never did either and not to provoke it, but I always wondered how damaging it would be. This was supposed to be a childish, yet non-violent way in the form of payback to someone who really screwed me over in the past, but I let it pass my mind and decided to let karma take care of it.

Banana in the tailpipe the worst that can happen is the engine will stall due to back pressure and no air flow. Sugar in the gas tank however is considered an criminal act called vandalism. The sugar clogs the filters, can damage the pump and in carbs can inter the pistons and can tear up the engine and is extemely expensive to fix. You would have to flush the engine, fuel lines, replace filters, and empty and clean the gas tank and thats only for starters. It is not uncommon to have to completely rebuild the engine.

  • Sugar in the gas tank will cause major engine problems, costing thousands of dollars in damages, while the banana in the tailpipe will only cause performance problems, but judging on where the person lives and their driving style could cause an issue with person health or injury if they relay on there performance while driving.
