Why does my right eye hurt like a bruise when i blink?
For some reason my right eye hurts really bad whenever i blink. It feels like a really bad bruise. It just started hurting this morning. It does not hurt on top or underneath its just on my bottom eyelid or somthing. My eyes look normal though so no one would be able to tell if anythings wrong. I tried putting a hot pack over it but it just made it worse. It hurts really bad!
What is it or what can i do?
please help thanks:0

You might be developing a stye, they can be really mild to really severe. But i noticed this one day and thought the exact same thing, that it hurt like a bruise. it just went away after time though, and i had to keep my eye clean because it usually generates from a small bacterial infection.

It is possible that you might be starting to get a stye on your botton eyelid. They hurt before they are really visible. Try putting a washcloth soaked in warm water on the eye for 10 to 15 minutes at a time with breaks in between. This will soothe the pain and draw the infection if it is there. If it does not improve; see your Dr., of course. Don't mess around with caring for your eyes. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon.

This would be my guess:
A sty (sometimes spelled stye) is a tender, painful red bump located at the base of an eyelash or under or inside the eyelid. The medical term for a sty is hordeolum (plural, hordeola).
A sty results from an acute infection of the oil glands of the eyelid (meibomian glands) that occurs after these glands have become clogged. A sty also may arise from an infected hair follicle at the base of an eyelash. The bacterium Staphylococcus aureus is responsible for 90%-95% of cases of styes. Staph aureus is frequently found on the skin. A sty can develop as a complication of blepharitis (inflammation of the eyelid).
The term external hordeolum has been used to refer to a sty that develops at the base of an eyelash involving a hair follicle of the eyelid, whereas the term internal hordeolum refers to a sty arising due to an inflamed meibomian gland under the eyelid.
A sty is sometimes confused with a chalazion (see below), which is a cyst or a specific type of scarring (due to chronic inflammation) arising in the meibomian glands of the eyelid. In contrast to a sty, a chalazion is usually painless.

Hi! This sounds strange, but you could have bruised it while sleeping. Just like sometimes people wake up with their arm or leg twisted underneath them, you could have slept so hard on your eye that you caused the tenderness you're experiencing. Sleeping isn't as passive as people think. I have woke up with my eye hurting like that and I'm convinced it's something I did in my sleep. The pain will pass in the next couple of days. For the pain you can try applying an ice pack or cold compress on your eye.
If the pain continues, I would see your eye Doctor to have it looked at it.
I hope you get relief soon.
