Should one commit suicide? This is a serious, honest question.?

The great philosopher Camus once stated that suicide is the only philosophical question that mattered. I've thought about it every single day for about 15 years now. I've been to psychiatrists and and psychologists, and they didnt work out too well. Just thought I'd might get some advice from strangers... Let me know, yay or nay

!! SAY NO TO SUICIDE !!

There are a lot of reasons why it isn't the answer, friends, loved ones, society, but the best reason is of course, You yourself.

It seems to me that you haven't yet worked out why you are here (alive, and incarnate). To me that is a very very strong driver to continue with the search (actually more like a relearning), rather than giving up.

You problem, is that at present you are on the wrong track, at some point in your life things were probably going well, and at a point you made a decision, it would appear to me that the choice you made was inconsistent with who you actually are.

You don't need religion (although i have little against it), but I think maybe you might benefit from some spiritual enlightenment.

Try new things starting today, and look for the joy, love and happiness in all things, its a lot harder than seeing the worst, but so much more rewarding.

Good Luck and I hope you rediscover your path.

If someone is terminally ill and suffers constant, intractable pain, I can understand why that person might consider an assisted suicide. But he should discuss it with his family and close friends so they don’t get a nasty surprise in a late-night phone call saying he shot himself or jumped off a bridge. A preplanned, assisted suicide that provides a peaceful death will not cause the anguish to survivors that a violent, unexpected death will.

Quality of life is as important as life itself. People shouldn’t be forced to spend their last 10 days in agony because someone else has decided suicide is immoral.

If someone plan to commit suicide, they should think before they act.

No problem can be solved with this.

One of the worst idea ever come to a person's mind.

You can't end pain with this.

Some people commit suicide because they think they can end all problems and pain.

    You can't escape problems.

It will just hurt the loves ones and many people will mourn for your death.

P.S :If you planning to do so,please don't.Don't take this as an offense cause no many people ask this question.

Suicide is a tough subject to the mind and body. Mind has to decide that their is no more meaning left in life and the body most react to it which is the hardest of all. In ancient Japan, Samurai commit an act called suppocku which was they felt killing themselves would be less disgraceful then not completing their quest but your not a samuri so its not a reason to do it. Suicide is not recommened by any means nessacary. I considering suicide I suggest medication and a doctor.

    NAY!

not only does it emotionally/physically/mentally destroy your family and friends but things are never so bad in life that you have to take your own life!!!!!!

Seriously, times are hard, things are going to be tough but things do change and get better. Just because someone is 15 and having trouble going through high school doesn't mean that when he's 30 we won't have a great wife, kids, job, money, etc. Your life is what you make out of it and things will get better. Even though there will be extreme lows, you just have to learn how to rise above those bad times. If everyone committed suicide because their life was hard, well then there would be no one left on this planet. Just look forward to the better times because when you get older, you'll realize things were never as bad as you thought they were.

When one gets to the point of being "zero" most amazing things begin to happen. You just need to think; whether to make a U-TURN to a better life or just end it here. Making a U-TURN gives hopes, motivation and makes you successful day by day but it depends on hard work. Anything can happen if u believe in it! Suicide would just take the challenges and happiness away. It is wrong to suicide!

I took an overdose 3 years ago and it was the worst mistake of my life and I have made some pretty awful mistakes! Your family and friends would blame themselves and it would ruin their lives. There is always hope. Life is short enough as it is, just try to make the most of what you've got. If you wanna chat you can email me. Take care.

Nah, i don't think so. You have available to you the most beautiful life imaginable. You have talents you never dreamed of, ability, reserves of creativity and wisdom. You're just not getting at it for some reason... but once you hooked in and started that life... you would be very glad you didn't end it. I think you just need to find those things.

May i suggest Deepak Chopra? Any of his books are good. Also Esther Hicks, and Wayne Dyer.

    Good luck!

there is not any Scripture for this decision, yet i think it is own between that individual and God. i does not advise it, considering individual would be dealing with the unknown, and you do not desire to take of undertaking along with your soul ending up in hell. I desire I had an answer, yet i will bear in techniques this individual in my prayers. If this individual is harmless they ought to get in touch with the A.C.L.U., in the event that they are in a position to't help they'll advise somebody who can. this is gloomy to be conscious of there are harmless people in penitentiary yet we are residing in an evil society. Pray.
