Yes, people with Time Warner, DirecTV and comcast will have MLB network for free, MLB network is on channel 279 on comcast.

If you have been victim to Comcast raisng your cable bill monthly or even yearly i would give them a call and complain about how you are overpaying for the ammount of channels you recieve. Also mention that the people who are signing up for Comcast right now get a special discounted price for the first 2 years.

After i called the first time they wanted no part of me and gave me HBO, Showtime and Starz movie channels for compansation. My price then started to increase over the next few months, i called again and they gave me all the sports packages free. Including MLB network.

I myself have been having the same problem. I have contacted comcast several times and they say they don't have the code for that channel. Apparently we don't have it in our area yet. They said they plan on having it before the end of the month. I know it isn't much of a answer but its all the info they would give me.

It will be on Comcast, but you'll need to have the digital box.

By the way it will only appear in 720p not 1080p due to network limitations.
