To boot from a CD/DVD you usually need to press any key. If you can't even go past that, then of course you can't use them.

Usually it works as long as your motherboard detects it. (You can go through bios or open boot selector using your wireless keyboard). Mouse helps with OS installation but it isn't necessary (you can use Tab,arrow keys to navigate) - so it doesn't matter as long as the kb works.

I assume you are installing XP from a vlean HDD for this answer:

Well. I'm pretty sure they will work if you have something that plugs into the computer like a USB. Wireless connection, but nonetheless something plugs into the computer. As for if there is a blue tooth card in the computer very unlikely since all the drivers are on the CD and installed after the OS.

if you are using wireless mouse and keyboard then during installation of the OS you cant use it,because they need drivers to be installed before using them.but for simple usb mouse and keyboard, while you fix them the system will automatically assign drivers.

They may have basic abilities, but you will need the old ps2 ones usually for anything before the OS loads like BIOS though I have used my g15(usb) to enter the BIOS so usb may work. It shouldn't have the advanced buttons working without a driver but then again you have zero need for that when installing an OS.

only the latest computer will support. some old systems don't support usb and wireless keyboard . they have to connect ps2 keyboard.

it will be good to use ps2 keyboard.

u will know it is working or not when it will ask to press enter or f8 keys.

if u can press the keys and u can move the next page. than it will work.
