yes definitely and absolutely, most sunnis would answer in 'yes'. but they justify following hadith books, and see no connection between shirk and following hadith books.

sunnis read Glorious Quran, and follow hadith for explaining Glorious Quran.these explanations have got nothing to do with the teachings of Allah Allmighty.hence they make the narrators.compilers of hadith books their lords/diety.and commit shirk !

Yes, calling for any1 for help apart from allah is shirk, becuase it shows that you beleieve that Allah cannot help u. If u ask others for help besides allah it is unforgivable or ascribing partners.

The beauty of Islam is that man does not need an intercessor when he talks to God, he can talk to him directly, Though some muslims do dispute this such as sufi's and shia's. Islam is the only religion where an intercessor is not needed. If u call out for other it shows that u do not have full faith that ur prayers can only be accepted if u ask sum1 pious to send ur message, does it not say in hadith (bukhari) that the angels take ur message to allah, therefore u need no intercessor between u and Allah.

This is worshipping other than Allah and thus is shirk. If a person dies without repenting after committing shirk indeed shall got o hell.

Well, according to Islam, there ARE no other deities other than Allah.

And in the case you do ask for help from another, that would be considered idol worship. And in the great, peaceful, forgiving world of the Abrahamic religions, that's a hell-worthy trespass.

well no one can help you but allah. so the act of askign another would be complete ignorance to start off.

it is a very bad act and yes if you dont change and repent then punishment is hell. just like in morocco i wistness people go to the graves of holy men they make them to be shrines and they go and ask for favours for blessings. astagfirallah these people are those un educated and dont actually read quran. iv seen it as some family memebers do it. and becuase its culture they are stuck in theirs ways and wont change.

Shirk is unforgiven only if you die in the state of committing it and not having repented.

If you truly repent and never committ that sin again then InshAllah, Allah has forgiven you.

that is shirk and shirk is unforgivable.

if you do so, aren't you going against the base of Islam " la illaha il Allah " ( there is no god but Allah ) .. then you know what that means.

well..in short...that would be very very sinful. You can always repent...so not necessarily going to hell.

But by doing that, you imply there is more than 1 god.

Well common sense - if you are a Muslim, you know it is committing Shirk, which is unforgivable if maintained until death.

I guess that depends on your religion. If I start talking to Allah, my God might have a problem with that.

I think it all depends on your motives. Maybe you should ask one of your local religious leaders. I am sure they can help.
