Seamstress, Fashion Expert. How do you create these destroyed jean effects?

it looks like bleaching, so spray bottle, dish detergent for sure. How do they make it look like that though? Clothes pins to pinch it?

    Thread parts through a safty pin you want the rippled effect on. The spray with your choice of bleaching agent.

    If you want the worn look, use a razor blade and scrape it along the jean.

    Cutting them in horizontal or vertical ways create different wears so experiment.

    Yeah, I'm pretty sure its scrunching or folding in a certain way then spraying it with bleach.
