    Cartilage is found at the end of bones, in the respiratory passages and parts of the ear.

    It is useful at the ends of bones because it connect bones, absorbs shocks that are put on joints and doesn't tear easily.

    It comprises the skeleton of cartilaginous fish such as sharks.
