If you think Israel's response is disproportionate, then I have to ask...?
what would a proportionate response look like?
http://www.jewishworldreview.com/jonathan/mark_dis...
And I also wonder when we decided that acts of war must be proportionate in response. If we'd followed that idea during WWII, we'd be speaking German. If Mexico launched missiles into Texas and killed 9 civilians, would you advocate that we kill 9 of their civilians, and then just hope they didn't escalate? Or would we go after them with force to make sure it didn't happen again? And what if they'd been killing Americans for 2 or 3 years?
Sane answers would be nice.

What can I possibly say? When you're right, you're right.
Thank you for some common sense. Israel should keep kicking
butt until Hamas is part of the dirt and unable to even be recognized,
period. And, when they are done, they should ask us, here in America, why we put up with organizations operating here in America like CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood who have been found to be
filtering millions of dollars to Hamas. And after that they should turn
to these leftwing radical politicians we have sitting in Washington, and
ask them why they continue to cater and coo these terror groups.
Israel and the United States both needs to get the big big broom
out and clean house.

When half a dozen terrorists seize civilian targets, and scores of commandos are called in to neutralise the threat, I suppose this is a disproportionate response. Wise leaders will always fight wars using a disproportionate response (if possible), so the wars are ended quickly and with minimal bloodshed.
I think those who claim that Israel uses a disproportionate response to terrorism:
a) Misunderstand the nature of warfare (war is certainly a tragedy, but usually requires a disproportionate response)
b) Misunderstand the nature of justice (it would be wicked for a nation to allow the murderers of its citizens to live)
c) Have a hidden agenda, expecting Israel to comply with a set of laws that is not expected of Israel's enemies
When I hear of trouble in Israel, I long for these people to turn to their Messiah, Jesus Christ, because I don't believe there will be true peace until He returns.

Israel's response isnt tuff enough.
Your point is absolutely valid, however, its lost on most. Its amazing the stupidity of the mainstream media and their idiotic talk about proportionate responses.
Whats happening in Gaza is not much different than whats happening all over the world. Almost all armed conflict worldwide is Islamic. The motivation for the Mumbai bombings is exactly the same as the motivation for Hama's endless rocket attacks. Islam is the scourge of the world.

I believe Israel has a right to respond with extreme force against terrorism!

I think it is not enough. They should finish this once and for all before Hussein gets in and arms the terriorist.

It's all about that Jewish equation. One dead Israeli equals to one hundred dead Palestinians!

What you are really asking for is answers that agree with you. Their response is disproportionate.
