well the song is mad funny (black girl here) and it has been out for over a year as satire and I appriciate it - and I think people just want to politisize something for their own gain. The problem with todays Republics is that they are trying to act just like todays Democrats. Why vote for Democrat-Lite when you can vote for the real deal?

They need to marginalize the people in the party who are claiming they have to move away from the conservative party ideology and move more towards the left. In truth, the party needs to embrace its conservative ideology. That is something is hasn't really done since Gingrich's "Contract with America". Instead, they are just making contracts with the special interest groups.
