For all the people that think God will destroy America for becoming non-Christian?

It seems like you are using Yahoo! Answers as a message board, but in any case to answer your question if God is destroying America, No. He is not. It is the people. What people? It's not the gays, it's not the people that do NOT beleive in God. It's not the rich, it's not the people on the street that commit the crime. It's the Christians and God states it himself in II Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Which people did God state in this verse? His people. Christians need to humble themselves. The reason why people do what they do is because they do NOT see Christians walking the walk and talking the talk. Bush is just one man that claims to be a Christian. One man. Besides, Bush and his entire family is surrounded by private guards, so no one can see how they live---we only see what Bush states on T.V or in the press and the press only report what they think we WANT to hear. The press only has so much power. What about the rest of the Christians, including me? We (Christians) all know someone and that someone knows someone else. If ALL Christians walked the walked while talking it, we would have no need to even post this question, no need for more police... I'm not sure if the Bible belt is still in the southern states. All I know is that when I was in HAC, they had a map of all the churches that went up from graduates from HAC. Many of them were in the Northwestern states going from Chicago to New York. But then again---that is only counting those graduates from HAC.. I have not personally done any research to prove that the Bible belt is in the north or south.

America is not going to be destroyed for becoming Non-Christian, it will be destroyed for what it is doing to Israel.

Who is the prime mover in getting Israel to divide Jerusalem? The US. Who is the prime mover in getting Israel to give up land for peace? The US.

You have to realize there is also more going on here than just the destruction of the US.

For a short time Europe has a part to complete as represented by the two legs made of iron and clay on the statue that Daniel described in his prophecy about the last great empire in the world.

The US has no role in the end times that can be clearly identified and thus Christians who are not into replacement theology realize that we must fade away.

I think this whole "apocalyptic" trend - with so many people waiting for global destruction - is just another spiritual attack. It's crazy. Really. How cruel must a person be if they are waiting for "the end" just so they can say "I told you?"

God does NOT want that sort of a heart.

God wants hearts that love one another. With all our flaws. God wants people with hopes and dreams. Even if they are silly.

Sadly, my friend, the US is not religious at all. Since the world in general has become so secularized we have more war and death than at any point in history.

It's not God who will destroy this world. Man will. The real religious people are working their butts off to save man, save the planet, feed the hungry... And all the so called "religious" people who are supposed to be doing the work of God, Good Work, will be sitting around doing nothing. Watching for The End...

You forgot to mention one of the most richest countries in the world was Africa. Look at it now. And why is that? Because they kicked God (Jesus) out of their country.

As for Europe, it is declining steadily and so isn't the United States (Countries) of America. God is 'sick' of this country and all its gods. He is sick of Christian's committing spiritual adultery and sleeping with religions in a "feel good", "politically correct" spiritually dysfunctional society.

Christianity is not a man made religion. It is a real, personal relationship with the "living" Person of Jesus Christ.

It won't be long...and the USA will, become a third world country. God isn't destroying the USA, man has kicked God (Jesus) out. It is because we are a stiff-necked rebellious people wanting to be our own gods, and do things our own selfish way. Period.

The Roman Empire collapsed because of financial ineptitude.

Dollar on the floor, huge national debt, sub prime debt, so many wars started by just one president and the largest number of poor and destitute in the civilized world - surely America is being punished for being too fundamentalist!!!

All in God's timing, not ours. Only God knows what He plans to do, really. Not one of us can or has the right to assume anything.

God is not destroying the USA the people of the USA are.

The weather stuff? That's global are you people in the States really that egocentric that you think it takes God to stop your nonsense? The States is the one that screwed the world's economy not the other way around. When are you people going to realize that this world is not yours it belongs to ALL of us.

Consider this: Yell and hate your plants adn they will wilt. Love them and they will glow. Earth is a living thing also. How do you treat it and your country? The answer will be found in the future geological changes of the USA ....Watch and be educated.
