old baseball cards prices?

Ok, I was looking through my old stuff and I found a huge box of baseball cards from the mid 80's. Im talking like a thousand cards here. There not organized in any way shape or form, and before I sorted them out I wanted to see if they would be worth any money. Any suggestions?

Yes, invest five dollars in a beckett guide. No one here is going to giv eyou all the prices. You probably don't have more than $50 in cards, in fact, if you've go that much, consider yoiurself lucky.

Since there is no organization to the cards, my guess is that they have been picked through by someone looking for promising ROOKIE cards. Should you accidently find a USA Olympic card of Mark McGwire or some other cinch Hall-of-Famer, then you could invest in BECKETT'S GUIDE to card values. The value in Beckett's is merely a guideline, however, and cards are likely to fetch far less than listed due to corner damage, bad die-cutting, or a myriad of other flaws. Good luck.

If the box is open and it sounds like in your question it is then it is not worth as much. But it also depends on what players you have and what year in the 80's it is. Some of the 80's had not so great years in terms of valuable players cards.

probably not worth that much. and the price of the cards will be affected by the condition they are in and what players you got

I am a collecter And from 1980 back izs where the values are.Mid 80 too many were made, making demand lower along with price, Stars in these sets will still get a premiem, but commons stay.

Keep the rookie and future cards. The rest is just average.
