How you turned dry brittle split end hair into soft and healthy hair?

I use a straightener and protective heat spray as well. My hair is very brittle and I have split ends all the time, I want to know how hair can be styled without damaging it. Also how to I get my hair back to being healthy and strong .

Update:

The thing is I barley use the straightener which is like 3-6 times a month

when you have dry ends that are split, the only option is to make friends with the scissors. You can't "repair" split ends. Hair products will tell you they do but they just want to sell you their junk.

Chemicals damage hair and you will continue to have brittle hair if you continue to use them.

try laying off the straightener. About once a week, try putting some olive oil in your conditioner.(about half conditioner and half oil) of course, the split ends are not going to go away unless you cut them off, and continue to trim your hair every few months. the extra few bucks on good shampoo and conditioner really does make a difference.

Aloe Vera,is a good remedy for dry hair. You can use the one readily available or the fresh one. It is obtained from the leaves of the Aloe Vera plant. Break the leaf and squeeze out the liquid inside, apply this liquid to your scalp, keep for about an hour and wash it off . Frequent trimmings will help your hair to stay healthy and strong.

deep/leave-in conditioner and try to cut down on the hot styling tools (flat iron, blowdryer, curling iron)
