I am sick and I probably need to be in the hospital, but new years eve is tomorrow, and I will be alone...?

I have 9 children, 8 of which are in the same city as I am. Well, one of my sons' is 16, so he will be at home unless one of the others take him away from here and let him get drunk. They know how much I detest that and how much I do not approve it, they do it anyway and say he does it on his own. Anyway, they all have made plans to be else where

knowing that mom is not well. And maybe I wouldn't mind to have a little excitement to bring in the new year. I will be having surgery soon and hopes of me coming off the respirator is very slim. So, do you see my dilemma?
