Everyone else pretty much took my answers lol... CVS does them, you can make your own on the computer like Rachel said or just have your photographer do it.
Good luck!

Oftentimes wedding photographers offer that service for a fee. The other option is to buy software and do it yourself. If all the pictures aren't digital files (i.e. print photographs), then you'd have to SCAN them first to convert them into a digital file. Creating the picture slide show isn't hard but it is time consuming. By the way, I'm not sure about the ones people are suggesting at Walgreens or CVS. I have a feeling what they offer is a very basic slideshow w/ no ability to add music or titles like software programs offer. The best FREE thing you can do is look on your own computer. I have Microsoft Vista & it came with a program called "movie maker" that lets you put together slide shows with music & transitions & effects.
I just put together a picture slide show DVD for my parents for Christmas and it turned out great. I could do the same for you if you'd like although I understand if you don't trust a perfect stranger to do that!! :) I live in Arizona so you'd have to mail any print pictures to me in order for me to scan them. I've done plenty of these for myself & family but never for someone else so take that into account. Email me if you're interested in talking about it.

Usually not as it is more than likely saved as either a video file or in a DVD format so it would be tricky. If they are individual pictures say .JPEG images, you can stick the DVD in your PC, right click explore in my computer and drag them onto your desktop. If it is in the movie format (.avi or DVD folder format etc.) The easiest way would be to open the video full screen on your PC, press the 'print screen' on each photo and copy it into a photo editor such as photoshop or GIMP (which is free) you can then save the image as an image file. You would need to do this process again and again for each image and the quality would be the same as you see on the DVD. Hope this helps, Dan

If you have a computer most likely it has a program to do it for you. I know Windows Xp and Vista have the capabilities. I'd ask a friend before spending money with Walgreen or Walmart. Its really easy just transfer the picks to a flash drive or sd card and go from there.

You can take your photos to CVS, Walgreens, or Walmart and have them scanned onto a disc. Then use Microsoft Powerpoint to create the slideshow. If you don't have that, then I think Kinko's or Office Depot will do it for a fee.
EDIT: I am not suggesting getting Walgreens or likewise to do your slideshow. Get them to scan your photos to a DVD and create the slideshow yourself. Kinko's can add music to your DVD slideshow. They did a presentation DVD for us here at work and added sound effects to it for an additional charge.

You can make one at home if you have photo shop or you can download a program from online... whenever i have these types of questions I use a search engine for free downloads.

A photographer or photography studio like MotoPhoto, Ritz CAmera or whatever you have in your area. PicturePeople can do them. You can also have them done at CVS drugstores.
