Cinnamon Rolls with or without?

Without icing, it's just not a cinnamon roll. --------------

Its good with for sure. If you want a sweet taste without all the extra icing, then go with raisins. Some disagree with it, but maybe a healthier choice to get that sweet taste in the mouth.

I want cinnamon rolls now.

Going to bk for breakfast when i get off work.

The icing is what makes the cinnamon roll other wise it is just a roll.

With Icing

German Rolls 4 c Flour; All-Purpose 1 c Shortening 2 tb Sugar 1 ts Salt 1 ts Baking Soda 2 ts Cream Of Tartar 3/4 c Skim Milk 3/4 c Water 1 lg Egg; beaten slightly 1 c Sugar; Brown 1/2 c Flour; All-Purpose 1/2 c Walnuts; chopped 1/2 c Raisins Instructions: Mix 4 cup flour, shortening, sugar, salt, soda and cream of tarter with water and milk (may take a little more than the 1 cup liqud). Roll out dough in jelly roll fashion. FILLING - Mix together egg, brown sugar and 1/2 cup flour. Spread on rolled out dough. Roll up like a jelly roll and cut into 1" slices. Bake at 450 for 12 minutes. can ice these with any frosting

It depends on who is making then for instance when one side of my family makes then i prefer no icing because she makes the cinnamon part so sweet and it is more like a sticky Bun. but when the other side of my family does i like icing because the filling isn't so sweet and there isn't allot of it!

Mmhhhmmm. Yummy Cinnamon Rolls! I love them with icing! They are so good! Except, I don't like that they are so sticky. Lol.

Don't eat them very often, but definitely with the Icing and they better have lots of cinnamon swirled in them. Yummy !
