new moon--when is it coming out in the theaters?

They are in preproduction (scouting locations, casting, script development, etc...) right now with filming set to begin in March '09.

The movie 'New Moon' is supposed to come out on November 20, 2009 but i think it wont get done until early 2010. They are currently working on the movie now and they hired Chris Weitz to direct it. They are also thinking about replacing Jacob with someone else so this all may effect the date of when the movie comes out. They also are trying to film 'New Moon' and 'Eclipse' back to back so they can speed things up in production and since the character Edward is supposed to look 17 throughout the whole series. They also want to try and make a movie to the fourth book 'Breaking Dawn' but hardly none of the characters signed for that one because they want to know how the first three turn out.

It's suppose to come out the same time Twilight came out, like the same date and everything. So my guess would be the 20th of november next year or close to it.

And the movie twilight will come out on dvd and bluray on feburary 2nd 2009.
