Chevy Z71 1500... How hard is it to change a power steering pump?

I have a power steering pump that needs to be changed. I just wanted some experienced people to let me know if this is a task I could do myself or pay the 250 dollars for it to be replaced? If i can change it by myself is there anything i need to be overly cautious about or weary?

If you have the special puller and installer for the pump pulley, its about an hour and a half job. If you dont have the special tools, then you will ruin the pulley and end up having to pay someone to do it anyway.

I would pay a shop that knows what they're doing.
