This stallion is a maternal grandson of Impressive- and he is HYPP N/N, in case you are wondering. He lives on a farm in Oklahoma, and his owner is a native of that state. It's common for horses which have foundation bloodlines to be very muscular- my mare is like that, and she descends from the Poco Bueno line. Like this stallion, she's also HYPP N/N. Just because a horse is muscular like this doesn't mean anyone has drugged him with steroids. Not all horse people are like Rick Dutrow, you know. Some of us actually have horses who come by their appearance honestly, and unless or until you know the horse's connections personally, I would at least give them the benefit of the doubt and not be so judgemental. From all indications, this is just a horse which has big muscles, as many stallions do. Enough said.

i tried to look up his pedigree on the site, but it wasnt there. he has some nice old bloodlines.(which they had listed) But he is only 76% foundation quarter horse. ( for FQHA you have to be 85% and over.) he seems very laid back, his color is beautiful. Yes he is on steroids or something for that look. i have never heard of him. BTW he is HYPP negative.

watch out for horses with IMPRESSIVE in their lines... wether they have HYPP NN or Not they can still have the tying up and other muscle problems later....

I would really reasearch a horse with halter, lines or impressive... no matter how many generations back.

    goodluck

If he's Impressive bred, you need to have him HYPP tested before you purchase.
