I know it is better when doing weights to only work the same muscles every other day.
is it the same way with cardio?

If you are an olympic athlete, cardio at least one a day is mandatory.
If you are a regular athlete, 5 or 6 times a day is good.
If you are going for fat loss, 3-5 times is best.
Remember, you need to give your muscles time to relax. Most people who need to lose fat aren't in the best shape and would really stress their body out too much with 6 days of exercise. Athletes are in better shape so they need less time to recover, and those Olympic athletes who work out for 5 hours a day every day *cough* michael phelps *cough* are genetic freaks and probably don't even need to sleep.
This does not mean you should sit on your butt on the off days, but don't go for a 10 mile run.

It's okay to do cardio on consecutive days. It's different than when you are working muscles with weights. Cardio and strength training are a good combination for weight loss and body toning.
Do try to take at least 1 day off for rest though, or at least do a mild activity that is fun, and not a structured workout.
Good luck!

Do cardio 30min-1hr, 5 days a week. Drink a lot of water. you're able to do it in the morning on empty abdomen, it is going to strengthen up your metabolism. you would be hungrier, yet you will burn extra energy. cardio could make you sense drained till now each little thing, yet after a on an identical time as is fairly effective. attempt the treadmill, the elliptical (the final one) and the stairs.

I try to give my body a rest two days per week; Thursday and Sunday. You should alternate your cardio routine. Try a cardio boxing class, jump on the elliptical or climb some stairs.

You can do cardio everyday. In fact everyone should get at least 30 minutes of excercise every day. Try walking outside when the weather is nice to get fresh air and kill two birds with one stone....
