Which classic country music song would make a good video?

So many classic country songs were before videos were popular.Which song do you think would make a good video, such as El Paso,or Oklahoma Hills, or your favorite classic country song.

Update:

Edit;

isawmarty you are right they don't write songs like that any more and it is a shame.

But over the holidays I saw some old B&W of some of the classic country music shows of the 60's and this hypothetical question come up.

But I agree with you.

I would love to see anything off of Marty Robbins Gunfighter Ballads , It reminds me of watching The " shoot em ups " with my grampa.

Perhaps The Hanging Tree or Big Iron.

Or maybe Patsy Cline "Waling after Midnight "

Good Question. I will probably think of a gazillion more after I press send

Happy New Country New Year Y'all.

Honestly, I don't think a video for any of the classics is necessary, because the songwriters painted such beautiful, visual pictures with their lyrics that a video would do nothing for the song. You don't need a video of "El Paso" because you can see the posse coming after Marty! You don't need a video for "Sing Me Back Home" because you can almost hear the footsteps echoing down the prison cell as the condemned man passes.

Dang, they don't write 'em like that any more. I think the music video has made songwriters lazy.

    Good question, though.

Marty Robbins was such a good story teller, as were most of the classic artists. I would have to go with Devil Woman as being a good contender for a music video.

    Cool Water

    Pistol Packin' Mama

Don't Take Your Guns To Town

    North To Alaska

In general, I think the cowboy/western type songs lend themselves better to visual interpretations.
