Don't worry about font size or type. (You do not need to double-space your manuscript, generally, either.) When you write a chapter, it can be as long or as short as necessary to make the point you are desirous of making. Some authors such as James Patterson write very short chapters, while others write quite lengthy ones. I've written two novels; some of my chapters are quite long; some are not so long. Each one covers a finite period of time or a definite event or connected sequence of events. As the author of your own potential novel, you are entitled to free-rein; you can construct your chapters to please yourself. Good luck!

There's no limit on how long or short a chapter should be. A chapter in "Holes" was one page long, whereas a chapter in some book I don't remember was about 20 pages long. I would stay away from 1 page though

I agree. Chapters can range from a couple pages to 50 pages, it doesn't matter. Just continue with the flow of your story, and whatever happens will. If you try to shorten or lengthen the story, it may take from the quality of it.
Like, if you just keep dragging on about the same thing to make it longer, it'll make it boring. Nobody likes a boring story ^_^
