I'm sorry but I can't narrow it down to a certain style. I like some of just about everything since the Renaissance period.
Here are a few examples of what moves me:

All kinds of music really. But specifically? From childhood to current day, music from the composer John Williams.

Dark, melancholy music speaks best to me. I know a lot about the pain of the world and my own grief, and when I listen to sad music I feel as if I can really relate to it, and compare it to the suffering and distress in life.

I have many, depending on the mood.
Reggae for spiritual, message music, rap for assertive, get-charged music, classical for when I'm in a mellow, melancholy mood. But I really do enjoy almost all types of music, it really depends on my mood as to what's speaking to me at the moment.

Music has nothing to do with it speaking to me. It is all about the lyrics, and how they get it accross.
Though I like Metal, Classic Metal (Ozzy, Maiden)

Or perhaps what music do you speak? It will depend on what kind of mood occupies your mind at the time. Have you ever put on some blues or slow music at a party and observed the people? They generally slow down and become mellow. Then if you speed up the tunes and work into some fast rock and roll everything intensifies and becomes wilder. All that exists in the universe in which we live resonates,...has a wavelength, and an attendant frequency. If you tune a guitar and hit the harminics of a note the next string will start to vibrate when it is in tune just from the one next to it vibrating. An army marching across a bridge must break step while traveling across the span least the bridge itself begin to pick up the vibrations and start a chain of ever increasing amplifications that causes structural damage. Minor keys and 7ths are found in blues. They invoke a feeling of sadness and shortcoming and a 7th note (D) is one short of another E... Blues, the almost but not quite feeling that makes the feeling. Heavy Metal is predominately strong minor chords to give it that feeling of desperation and resentment. All music is a product of the times in which it was created. The feelings of an age are expressed in its music...how could it be anything else...?

Well, I've always loved the Flute. Cheerful tunes...
I remember watching Sailor Moon when I was younger and I've always been able to relax when hearing it play (flute music):
Edit: Thanks. I've always loved hearing Poupelines Flute.
