Vista Home Premium isn't a bad OS, it's just that it needs a pretty good system to run efficiently. Many people will tell you it runs slow and they experience problems, but those people probably have systems that barely meet the minimum requirements for the OS. This is more the fault of the retailers and manufacturers as opposed to the consumers, but after doing some quick research one should be able to determine whether or not a system will run Vista well. It's a good idea to exceed the minimum requirements with Vista... especially in regards to RAM. I have Vista Home Premium on my Macbook (2.4 ghz) with two gigs of RAM and it works perfectly fine. Its safe but you have to delete your Cookies, see, everytime you visit a site, it stores an obvious cookie, it just informs your web browser the tokens, and session ID's logged on it. To delete it, go to tools, options, privacy, and delete all that stuff. Or better yet, install CCleaner @:

Now, to get more advanced, most of your "stuff" for your browser is located at %appdata% . Well, after your done watching your porn, uninstall Firefox, now go to start, run, type in, %appdata%

on Vista, press start, search run, open it, type in %appdata%

not see Mozilla, delete it, that is where all the extensions are stored, DELETE IT.

Your done watching porn, you deleted Firefox, you deleted the evidence, now what? Reinstall Firefox again @

mozilla.com

now its brand new with new extensions, etc.

Also, be sure to check program files after your done deleting Mozilla, just to be sure it isn't their, if it is, delete it, clear your recycle bin.

But remember, you delete all this evidence, then you can get Mozilla running on top again..

If you mean safe as in, "can my parents find out?" Then yes, but there are ways to clear your tracks.

If you mean safe as in, "can I go to porn sites and be fine?" Then I'd say not to risk it. Most free websites will give you spyware, adware, tracking cookies, annoying ads, etc.
