for true blooded batanguenos only who eat tapang taal and langgonisang taal?
how do you eat your tapa and langgonisa, do you have any recipe other than frying and grilling it? i usually eat it by adding a little oil from from frying to the rice and giving it a dash of soy sauce or patis.
tapa is a sliced pork meat like tocino but marinated with soy sauce, calamansi, garlic, black pepper and secret ingredients, for langgonisa, it's the same seasoning and the meat is diced small and stuffed like sausage.
they are both manufactured in taal, batangas where the market has a section solely intended for it. for me, they are the best tapa and langgonisa which i have tasted.

Aking kababayan, I eat tapang taal and longganisa the way you eat it.
but sometimes, i put the longganisa in suka with crushed garlic and eat it with fried rice. ever heard of bug-ong ? put your fried tapang taal in bug-ong. now you've just made me hungry.
p.s. where in batangas are you from ? I, from Lipa City.

Try this. We eat our fried tapa with garlic fried rice , a little vinegar dash of salt , or sliced tomatoes and sunnyside up egg. Same with longganisa. Bon appetit

i'm not a batangueno,
and i don't know --
what the tapa and longganisang taal are.
but if you ask me,
i eat the average tapa with egg and fried rice.
but the atchara is a big no-no!
also, i don't add any seasoning.
i eat it as it is. just cook it of course.

I am not Batangueno but I've been looking at this question for half an hour now, unanswered. But I always eat tapa or longaniza fried. Deep fried. Crispy.
