There is a good amount of math involved as an Econ major, but more so on theory. For me, I had to do 3 semesters of Calculus (most majors only require 2) and Econ Stats as pre-reqs for an Econ major. Also depending on what kind of econ courses you want to take will determine the amount of math involved, i.e. more theoretical courses like Marxist Economics, Game Theory OR more mathematical courses like Econometrics, or Financial Economics. Economics is a very versatile major, so you make it how you'd want it by the selection of your courses. Good luck!

My daughter's economics undergrad degree required a calculus course, a statistics course and an econometrics course. The stats and econometrics were the two hardest courses in the program.

However, because she has these she got a free ride in grad school to study transportation management and to do research for the state government.

Depends on the school you attend. Some schools will be very rigorous like UCLA, and others like a state school will be less so. My advice, if you aren't comfortable with math, don't be an econ major. Economics is basically applying mathematical models to the real world.

interest clever isn't the situation now...it particularly is which med college or regulation college do you desire to be conscious to ...the college with the better pre-med and/or prelaw software is the only you're searching for for...for the two a GPA of three.5 and suitable MCAT or LSAT scores...
