Why does a pop up appear sometimes when logging into my yahoo mail asking if i want to display nonsecure items?

    It is just to protect your computer from Hackers and Spammers.You can learn more about that by clicking the Help link at the time when it pops up.

    You can get rid out of this massage

    If you are using Internet Explorer and you see this message, you can turn it off.

    Select Tools > Internet Options > Security Tab.

    Select Web Content Zone as Internet and Intranet.

    Select Custom Level.

    Scroll to Miscellaneous Setting.

    Under Display Mixed Content Setting change the radio button from Prompt to Enabled.

    Select OK.

    Click Apply

    Select OK

    The technical bit missing from the answers above is because the page has both http:// and https:// content within the page.

    If this has just started happening in the last 10 days, it is not your computer. Don't change your settings. Yahoo is struggling. Many people have complained about this exact problem. You can try help.yahoo.com but they already know. They will fix it.
