Would astrologers kindly explain New Year's Mercury Venus and Jupiter tonight?

Well, I'm not sure where you're getting Venus from, because it's a whole sign away (26 deg. Aquarius) from Mercury and Jupiter (29 deg. Capricorn). Venus is conj. Moon at the moment, but not really doing anything in regards to Mercury and Jupiter.

What it means to Sagittarius depends upon the Sagittarius in question and their own birthchart....but since you posted your birth data, and since you are a fellow Sagittarian, and born in the same year that I was...I'll take a peek at the chart and brb:-)

Okay, well the Venus is actually in your natal chart. So you've got transiting Jupiter and Mercury conjunct your natal Venus and descendant. Solar return Venus is conjunct as well. I think you really don't have to try too hard to benefit from this conjunction, but I do think it's possible that you're blowing it up into more than it is, due to the Jupiter and Mercury influences, and just typical Sag getting carried away with things. So expect in general a pleasant time with lots of communication and activity, possibly in particular with people that you work with. You could be thinking more than usual of a relationship, this is a possibility, but do remember that although Jupiter can make us lucky, it also tends to make our expectations greater than reality at times.

It could mean some personal connections, love or otherwise, since Mercury and Jupiter rule opposite sites. They are conjuncting tonite.
