can I still plug my phone into computer with dsl?
I just switched from dial-up to verizon dsl.can I still plug my phone into the phone jack on my computer? If not can I plug in a splitter into the moden .add a filter then my phone?

you COULD connect your phone line to the modem on your PC if you feel the need... but the modem is an analog device, you would need to put a DSL filter on the line cord connecting to the modem...

HI Raldo, Present setup,Tel line goes to DSL Modem. Modem goes to Computer Network JK (RJ45). At TEL JK,( Wall JK) unplug tel wire going to DSL Modem. Plug Splitter into TEL JK. Plug Modem wire into Splitter. Plug FILTER into other Splitter JK. Plug Phone into Filter, You should get dial tone on phone provided that you have dial tone service on the tel line & not just DSL service. Good luck. exbelltel
