If Paul said to reject false science, why do people still believe in Creationism?

Paul forbids it, and he talked about science 2000 years ago almost, so why do people still believe it?

1 Timothy 6:20-21 (King James Version)

20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:

21Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.

Paul even said "Amen" at the end.

Update:

P.S. If you have this question and the question it is based off of in 2 different tabs, and click between them, it's cool. They're ALMOST exactly the same. I'm pretty impressed.

human beings tend to flock with the widely used concepts of the day i propose one looks extra sane believing interior the evolution than the introduction concept. This i think is a factor of existence we would desire to get used to they rejected Christ so in some quarters you expext a huge extensive form to honestly have self belief what one guy reported than what Jesus did why they try this i cant locate words to describe

20 O Timothy! Guard what was committed to your trust, avoiding the profane and idle babblings and contradictions of what is falsely called knowledge— 21 by professing it some have strayed concerning the faith.

Are you one who has strayed? Believing you are evolved from a molecule is not science. It's called presumption.

Many here follow what they have learned from their particular church/religion, thoughts and beliefs have been drummed into them. Their clergy says..."this is what God says" or "this is what God wants".....and they believe blindly.

Little do they know that much of what they think is true being told to them is just simply mans interpretation that has been changed, and in many cases even isn't in the Bible.

If you believe what Paul said, then you should believe Genesis chapter 1.

Creationism fails even as "false" science.

ID could be considered false science. Biblical creationism is more like a Looney Tunes cartoon.

"Officer, would I give you that fruit to eat if it would make you kick my good friend Bugsy outta the gahden?"

"Oh, you might, rabbit, you might..."

Clearly you cannot follow the Bible literally if you follow the Bible literally.
