Why is my iPod doing this?
I have an iPod nano 3rd generation I think. I plugged it into the cable and it is stuck on the songs list. I tried scrolling but the wheel doesn't work. It is not on hold and when I try to put it on hold it doesn't show the lock image on top next to the battery notification image. Please help because I need to have this fixed. I don't want a broken iPod!

not sure what to do, sry, but if you come to no avail, as long as its still in its warranty period, apple will fix it for free otherwise you have to pay a service fee to them

Try the reset.... flip the Hold switch on and then off again. Then hold down the center button and Menu button until you see the Apple logo. Then release both.
