How could i change my outlook on relationships?
I've recently turned 21 (last week), and I have yet to have a long, meaning relationship with a girl. It's not that girls aren't interested in me, it's just the girls that I'm into aren't interested. They usually want to be friends (and some I'm still friends with today). This has been happening to me since high school.
I've been told I'm too picky with women when looking. But I figure it's better for me to be picky than be in a relationship that I'm not into. Any advice on how to change my outlook, or past experiences to help me?
Thanks in advance!

Your happiness is the number one goal, then your partners. If you feel you have a negative outlook on women in terms of what's in your favorable selection, just got on a date with a girl you can start a conversation with. Don't worry about anything else, if you're attracted to her in any way, just do it. That way you can test the waters.
If you have anymore questions, I started GuysCryToo.com - Relationship Advice for Dudes, and girls. There are a lot of others in similar predicaments as yourself and I feel you could get some good advice there as well. I typically don't give advice, but I like providing my own opinion at times.

my young teen son explained to me that he is very picky.
he listened to me tell him to give a girl the chance that seems to love him more than he loves her and he'll be happy and find her 'perfect'. now, he gave a girl a chance and he's very glad he did and he's very happy. you should try that.

You will find the right one - fat girls used to like me but no offense to anyone - i wasn't interested. It took ages to find the right one - who is actually very attractive but it came eventually. Enjoy life while your single someone will come along when you least expect it - good luck
