Is it possible to go back to the Normandy after entering a planet and not completing it in Mass Effect?
I do not have the game on this moment so I do not remember exactly which planet, but I am currently looking for Liara and I am on the planet that is very industrious in metal-making. I do not think that this planet is very important and I want to go back to Normandy and go to Noveria. Is that possible to do without going through the entire planet?

Ohhh... no. Haha. This same thing happened to me. On this particular planet, you cannot return to the Normandy until you've found Liara. I've had to start over twice because of this.

Could you let us know which undertaking you are on?, a mechanic is not so much to head on. If it is what I believe you are speaking approximately then you definately ought to speak to Anderson over within the Flux nightclub at the Citadel, and he will let you know what to do subsequent. :)
