Do brown highlights look good on black hair?

I have black hair and want to try a new look, what would you recommend? I have never colored my hair before.

    no i would recommend either red or copper highlights

    my hair is black with brown highlights and it looks pretty good on me so yeaaahhh!!!!

    not really, get caramel highlights

    depends- if u r going 4 a total rocker look-than yes, if not- do brunette with caramel highlights. :)
