I will defend my beliefs but that doesn't mean I can't listen to others. I am fearless that way. I like a good challenge and love honing my beliefs. I love a good argument but not an I'm right your wrong one...those are so boring and useless. I hate when people won't challenge me back or get offended because they don't like the passion.

The problems for the theory of evolution are: It puts humans in the animal kingdom It has been totally mis represented by the religions as saying we are monkeys. We are greater Simeon's It strikes at the heart of the creation myths Its about facts not belief and or myths What is so impotent is that it is science and has evidence from many imputes. The creation myths are fun but no evidence that can be cross referenced or substandard in any other way.

I'll be honest - it hurts when someone steps on a part of your heart that you give to your faith - especially when you are not feeling so strong.
The thing is, there is no reason for people to be so offensive to those who believe differently. My reasoning is that everyone should have their own spiritual journey as long as it does not disrespect the humanity of anyone else.
In think that it is always interesting to observe the religious people vs the spiritual people in any given religion. There is a definite difference.

Not overly so. I'm pretty hard to offend, in general. Once in a while, I might go on the defensive when I see somebody making completely false statements about what I believe, or bashing certain religious rituals that are very meaningful to me or my loved ones. However, I also understand that people have the right to say whatever they wish. I try not to get excited about these things as much as I used to. It's not worth the elevation in blood pressure.

Why? What have you heard? Who has been lying about me? That whole 'goat incident' was just an unfortunate misunderstanding. The cops were pretty cool about it after they heard the whole story. And the charges were dropped anyway. You cannot believe everything you read. It was a long time ago. I have moved on. Let it go.

No, I just offer them some butter if anyone starts talking about religion.
Its quite ironic the scene when you offer someone pure butter with absolutely nothing else. Try it.

Yes and no.
People can say whatever they want and attack my beliefs, I won't really get offended or "defensive" about it. People are entitled to their opinions. If they ask me anything I will then say something about my beliefs.
