the red ring of death?
I got the red ring on my 360 today, what a way to start a new year better than with a bill. but seriously, does the red ring affect the hard drive and my online account. apparently 1-5 360 units can be affected, so what's up? I had mine for 2 years, is it worth bothering with?!>
wow, it sucks that an American computer company can not create a product that can last for more than 2 years, shame on MICROSOFT, and **** Bill Gates!!!

There are guides online on how to fix it, but first check to see if Microsoft still has the send-it-in-and-we'll-fix-it thing going.
If they are, choose wait(send it in) over risk(fix it yourself)

Apparently, there is a new Xbox 360 slim coming out. So what i'd do is, put it all back in the box and trade it in now or when the Xbox 360 slim comes out.
If you really want it to get it fixed though you can get it fixed by Microsoft like my cousin did. Though when you do that you don't get it back for about 3 months.

red ring of death means your 360 is dead. you will need to send it back to get it fixed/replaced.
