I had just got home from work, I cooked a meal and sat down in front of the TV, the news came on and they said a plane crashed into a building. I just thought it was an accident, planes crash all the time, then 15 minutes later they said another plane crashed and I realized it was no accident.I stayed up all night and watched it for 8 hours straight.

I was in 5th grade. I live in Cali. My teacher's wife was on a plane to NY, and he was freaking out bc he didnt know the plane # and she wasn't answering her phone. I was late to school that day bc my family was just watching the news.

This girl's (she was in my class) dad was supposed to be on one of the planes, but he missed his fight.

I was 23 years old...I was sitting in my room watching cartoons...( i know..so mature) when they were cut off. I was annoyed at first...but watched for a while.

After a bit i turned on the internet and talked to a few friends about it.

I had mixed feelings about it..On one hand I was thinking..." Im glad its not close to me"

" but on the other hand it is still pretty close to home...its still pretty scary"

I stood guard duty for two hours, I won't say where. Then listened as people lied about me for the next seven years.

And yes, I was stupid enough to volunteer!

I was taking a math class in college. The Tv in the classroom was on before class while the news played. I didn't think much of it then.
