That's bloody fascinating. In the UK: Those wishing to buy a tv have to additionally purchase a license. Any individual determined breaking a boiled egg on the sharp finish shall be sentenced to 24 hours within the village shares (enacted via Edward VI). Any boy beneath the age of 10 would possibly not see a bare manequin. In Thailand: You have to put on a blouse whilst riding a vehicle. It is unlawful to depart your condominium if you're no longer dressed in undies. No one would possibly step on any of the country’s forex. In Italy: A guy could also be arrested for dressed in a skirt. In Germany It is unlawful to put on a masks. A pillow will also be regarded a “passive” weapon. Every workplace have to have a view of the sky, nevertheless small. Hahaha!

Not a minute (minuet is an old dance). 1 second is being added.

THEY do it because it is a scientific thing that works,

    No big deal.

My main accomplishment is to quit answering stupid questions.

    Have a happy!

    It was a second.

And Yes! I'm looking forward to this year. I've been trying to get better work for eight months, and FINALLY got reliable contracts starting Jan 6. Obama takes office the 20th, and I'm psyched up with a can-do attitude.

Happy new year to you, too!

it was only one extra second, not a minute. so that all the world clocks would be exactly on time, which in my opinion is dumb because some places are 3, 6 hell even 15 hours ahead of our time.

I thought they added a leap second. A minuet would be much more entertaining. We could all use a dance to a minuet.

Not a minute, they added one second to the year. Based on the atomic clocks, we were a second short. It's adjusted every two years or so and is nothing new.

I'm busy helping plan for Darwin's 200th birthday on Feb 12, then in between I guess I'll get ready for Constitution Day on Sept 17th, a holiday loathed by rightwingers. Knowing it gives Karl Rove fits is good enough for me.
