Computer Question please answer?

I want to buy a hp invent computer and there is one thing that is bugging me, the CPU. There is a Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Quad processor Q9300 (2.5GHz) which comes already with it

a Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Quad processor Q9400 (2.66GHz) for $60 more and a Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Quad processor Q9550 (2.83GHz) for $120 more. Is it worth paying the extra or is there really a noticeable difference between them?

my opinion? it will matter. look at it this way. a processor is one of the most pain in the butt parts to swap out later. and youre already willing to spend like 600 at least im guessing. an extra 60-120 isnt really going to kill anyone. and all computers become obsolete in time. would you rather pay 120 more and be set for a year or two, and just buy a little memory here and there, or buy a whole new computer in a year or two? it depends on what youll be using it for, but i would get the midrange at least. its just like getting brakes on a car. never get the worst, but never get the best. go midrange - Adam

Honestly, I think that they are charging too much. I wouldn't bother.

2.83 GHz will def be noticably faster than the 2.5GHz so you should go for that one, trust me, its worth it.

For normal use? You won't notice it, but you will notice it with heavy use.
