No. Only people with Time Warner are affected.

They may have reached a deal but prices will increase for consumers since TWC will pass it along to us of course. While TWC makes me mad with rate increases like box rental increase, Viacom was trying to play hardball since they know some people can't do without their channels like Nick and TWC would have had people leave them for satellite/dish.

It is ridiculous the Dora crying ad though. Absolutely shameful on their part. SHAMEFUL!!!!!

They reached an agreement and there will not be a blackout.

    Their stocks are up,

so pass it on to time warner cable customers,

damn im already paying 95 bucks a month, now they want to increase 28 to 38 cents per channel, rip off!

    Screw viacom!

Personally, I think it's kind of a "snafu". Everybody is always for free enterprise, until it effects their pocketbooks. Viacom basically has a monopoly. So they dictate what kind of market we have. If you think about it, it's almost like the same thing as the big oil companies.

They are a privately owned corporation and can make business decisions based on their own judgment.

Their customers can also make decisions based on whether or not they believe that they wish to continue on as customers of Viacom.

I believe that any customer that wants to leave Viacom should have that right despite any contract signed. Since losing so many popular networks and shows it looks to me like the nature of the service has changed drastically. Since the conditions of the product and service have changed so much then any contract should be null and void.

All customers wishing to leave should receive any deposits and be allowed to go.

But Viacom can and should decide whether or not such enormous rate hikes by these networks can be justified in this day and age and act ccordingly

they shouldn't be doing that to y`all

They're trying to extort more money out of the cable company, which would ultimately be more expensive for me, even if the cable company doesn't cater to them, I still don't get those channels, so I say Viacom needs to suck it up and take the original pay raise they were offered. :P

i think it sucks, they are punishing 13 million time warner subscribers for a dispute between them & time warner.

i'm ticked off i won't get to watch comedy central.
