What type of heart murmur do I have?
i know there are Systolic, Diastolic, and continuous, but i dont know when the murmur happens, i just know how it feels when it does.
sometimes it'll feel like my heart skips a beat then i have an immediate loss of breath and cough.
others it kind of skipps but then like half beats in a weird way like 4 times. like 4 big "lubs". and it felt like my heart gets bigger or something then i lose my breath and start coughing.
It's done these two things for years, not all the time, but randomly, and it's not extremely frequent like a few times every day, but more like a few times a week.
I also found out there's Innocent and Abnormal murmurs, and that abnormal ones have symptoms. i have those symptoms.
for example i have:
shortness of breath
blue fingertips/nails and cold hands and fingers all the time
sometimes have a rapid heartbeat
chest pain
dizziness, but not fainting
fatigue, even if i get a good nights sleep
decreased tolerance for physical exertion
sometimes light-headedness
So, I'm not sure exactly what I have, especially since they have different specific names for each. I'll go to the doctor eventually, but I would really like an answer for what it may be sooner.
thank you

What you are describing sounds more like Arythmias not murmurs...Murmurs are sounds different to normal heart sounds within a heartbeat....you do not feel murmurs typically.
I think you really need to speak with your doctor or even a Cardioligist about these feelings you are having...it may be innocent or it may be something serious.
You may have a valve defect which is pretty common and often accompanies a heart murmur...but again...you hear this stuff with a stethescope , its not something you feel.
An abnormality in the hearts rhythm is what you appear to be feeling and this is called Arythmia...it can be caused by something as innocent as a can of cola or anxiety. No one can diagnose you over the internet...
Your other symptoms can be just consequences of your anxiety over the weird heart beats you feel...its perfectly normal to be concerned about this...Its important for you to see your doctor for a proper diagnosis so they can give you a thorough check-up.

Eventually? I suggest you go now or asap. Expecially with these symptoms you have.
Both my Daughter and I have innocent heart murmurs. The only way they can tell is by listening and hearing the whooshing sounds, but ours don't bother us.
I suggest you get to the doctor. It could be anything.

What you're describing is palpitations, not a murmur (which is heard through a stethoscope). You're likely experiencing some premature beats (PVC) which is very common.
