Here is a link for a fabulous goal on a Sunday night match. Let me know what you think, best goal of 2009? So far it is. If it had happened a week earlier it would be best goal of 2008 for sure. Do you agree?

Bloosboy, there's luck involved in EVERY goal. But I grant you this: in a bicycle kick there's more luck than in a front facing goal

They always look spectacular and I liked the build up play too. I think that even the pros would tell you that there is always a little bit of luck involved in the bicycle kick because you can't be sure where the goalie is - but hey they look great.

I don't think it would have been the best goal of 2008, that belongs to Glen Johnson of Portsmouth. But it could well be the goal of 2009

That was a nice goal. Not the best goal I've seen recently though. No where near the best 08 or 09.
